Senior Graphic Designer

Job Description:

As a Senior Graphic Designer at Flora Fountain, you will lead the conceptualization and execution of creative design projects, taking ownership of the design process from concept to final deliverables. You will collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to translate brand objectives into visually stunning and effective design solutions.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the design process for a variety of projects, including brand identity development, marketing collateral, digital assets, packaging, and more, ensuring high-quality, on-brand deliverables that meet client objectives and deadlines.
2. Conceptualize and create original, visually impactful designs that communicate brand messages effectively and resonate with target audiences across various platforms and mediums.
3. Collaborate closely with clients, account managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, provide creative insights and recommendations, and present design concepts and solutions.
4. Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers, offering constructive feedback, sharing industry knowledge and best practices, and fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
5. Stay up-to-date with design trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in graphic design, and proactively integrate new techniques and approaches into your work to elevate our creative output.
6. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and deadlines effectively, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality design work that exceeds client expectations.
7. Maintain brand consistency and integrity across all design projects, adhering to brand guidelines and ensuring alignment with brand values, messaging, and visual identity.
8. Collaborate with external vendors, printers, and other partners as needed to facilitate the production and delivery of design assets.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a graphic designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your creative skills and ability to conceptualize and execute compelling design solutions across various mediums.
2. Expertise in graphic design software and tools, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.), with proficiency in both print and digital design.
3. Strong conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into visually engaging and accessible designs.
4. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts, rationale, and recommendations effectively to clients and team members.
5. Leadership and mentoring abilities, with a collaborative and supportive approach to working with team members and fostering a positive and inclusive team culture.
6. Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field is preferred.
7. Minimum 4  years of experience in a graphic design role, with demonstrated progression in responsibilities and achievements.
8. Experience working in a creative agency or design studio environment is a plus.
